Surrey County Council Ofsted Results
Posted 11th June 2025
Surrey County Council recently had their full Ofsted ILACS inspection receiving a judgement of ‘Good’ in all areas. It was great to see their Local House Project get a mention in the report. An Ofsted inspector spoke to some of the young people in Surrey’s first cohort. They all spoke highly of their house project and the support from Veronica, Lauren and Matthew.
The inspection report stated “For care leavers who are accessing the local house project, they have a clear structure and pathway towards being ready for independence. Without exception, every care leaver involved with the project who spoke to inspectors was extremely positive about what they had learned.”
