We're taking part in Run Reigate!
Posted 2nd July 2026
On the 20th September 2026, National House Project (NHP) will be taking on 'Run Reigate' to raise funds that help care-experienced young people live connected and fulfilling lives through the House Project community.
Our Surrey and West Sussex Local House Projects will be lacing up their running shoes and choosing between the 5km, 10km or half marathon routes. It's a fantastic opportunity to bring our community together for a day of fun, teamwork and fundraising while supporting a cause that makes a lasting difference.
Every pound raised will help the House Project continue to create opportunities for care-experienced young people to build connected and fulfilling futures. Through the support of Local House Projects, young people develop the skills, confidence and relationships they need to thrive, while becoming part of a community that continues long after they move into their own homes.
Whether you're aiming for a personal best, taking on your first organised run, 'run walking' the 5km with friends, or simply looking for a challenge with a purpose, we'd love you to join Team NHP. Every participant helps raise awareness of the positive impact of the House Project and the importance of supporting care-experienced young people as they transition into adulthood.

In May, we were proud to attend the Frontline Awards to celebrate Coventry City Council’s Pathways service winning the Multi-Agency Partnership of the Year award. Funded by the Rayne Foundation, the Pathways programme brings together a number of organisations, including NHP, Coram Voice and The Rees Foundation, working closely alongside the Throughcare Service, Coventry House Project and Lifelong Links. Together, the partnership supports young people leaving care to develop skills, build positive relationships, and focus on their emotional health and wellbeing. Three cohorts of young people from Coventry have now go through the Pathways Programme. Seeing the partnership recognised nationally was a fantastic moment and a powerful reflection of the impact collaborative working can have in supporting care-experienced young people.
